The Impulse Model Protection

Under Impulse Model, INGON ensures that trained and sensitized professionals provide survivors of human trafficking with the necessary support services as per the Law. Under Protection, the Impulse Model also includes advocacy with policy makers, for victim compensation and assistance.

All stakeholders in the fight against human trafficking must understand the trauma the victims go through. They must be aware of the victim-friendly procedures and high standards of care required to give best possible protection to survivors.

The element of Protection is therefore also critical in policymaking discussions and decisions, to ensure that the spirit of this element under the Impulse Model, and all relevant services as per the law, are in place in all the states and districts of the country, as well as in related countries.

Given below are some of the initiatives taken by Impulse NGO Network, to promote the element of Protection, in the fight against trafficking-in-persons.
