Marina Dai is a journalist and independent freelancer based in Arunachal Pradesh, dedicated to reporting stories that amplify underrepresented voices and critical issues from the region. Her work spans climate change, indigenous peoples’ rights, human rights, and social justice, with a focus on bringing local perspectives to national and global attention.

She is a Fellow of the Asia Indigenous Peoples Pact (AIPP)–East Mojo Fellowship and the 101Reporters Climate Journalism Fellowship 2025, where she continues to highlight the intersections of environment, culture, and community resilience. Previously, she worked as a News Correspondent for Northeast Live, a Guwahati-based satellite news channel, gaining frontline experience in newsroom reporting and broadcast journalism.

She holds a Postgraduate Diploma in English Journalism from the Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Delhi, and is committed to advancing media narratives that strengthen accountability, promote inclusion, and champion the rights of indigenous communities across Northeast India.
